Brief: To design brand identity for Empress Garden with wayfinding signages for visitors to navigate efficiently by using clear structure attractive pictogram.
Empress Botanical Garden, spread over 39 acres, is situated in Pune Camp. A rare & towering trees with dense green foliage, giant climbers is a green heritage site not only to this city but for the state of Maharashtra. It is an institution of living collection of plants, a center of public education, major recreational place for the citizens and most of all, conserve Pune’s natural environment & biodiversity for the generations to come.
Empress garden is surrounded with Shades of green. Colour palette is thus contrast to environment in empress garden keeping in mind the seasons and light changes from day to night. Person should be able to see in fog and sunlight. Also keeping the signage's bold to be seen from distance. There is unity in shape of signages mostly rounded as it is botanical garden.
